No Future is a high gain preamp and distortion pedal built on power amp chip topology — an uncommon circuit architecture rarely seen in effects pedals — handcrafted on the Gold Coast, Australia.
It sits in genuine high gain territory with a raw, open character that reacts to your guitar and amp rather than imposing its own voicing. Run it standalone and it sounds like your rig at its absolute best. Run your dirt chain into it and those pedals will sound better than they do on their own.

The Pedalboard Preamp
No Future was designed to sit at the end of your gain signal chain and make everything before it sound better.
The natural compression of the power amp chip brings your dirt chain together cohesively — tighter, clearer and more defined. The Filter control cuts fizzy high end frequencies while the circuit naturally removes mud below 50hz between gain stages. What comes out the other side sounds like your pedalboard performing at its absolute best.
Standalone High Gain
Used on its own, No Future delivers an insane amount of gain with a wide open character that's distinctly different from typical high gain preamps — rawer, more open and less processed feeling. More reactive to your guitar and amp.
Add your own flavour before it in the chain and it responds to everything you give it.
Important: No Future has an enormous amount of amplitude on tap. Set your Level control low when operating for the first time. Setting Level too high may damage tube amplifiers.
Controls
Level — Turn clockwise to increase signal level. Set low on first use.
Gain — Turn clockwise to increase gain and saturation. Covers clean boost through to glitchy gated fuzz.
Filter — Fully clockwise is neutral. Turn counter-clockwise to cut high end and tame harsh frequencies.
